 About the power industry

 Electricity is an energy source powered by electrical energy. It is an electric power production and consumption system composed of power generation, transmission, transformation, distribution and consumption. It converts primary energy in nature into electricity through mechanical energy devices, and then supplies the electricity to various users through power transmission, transformation and distribution. The main ways of generating electricity include: thermal power generation (combustible materials such as coal), solar power generation, large-capacity wind power generation technology, nuclear power, hydrogen power generation, hydropower generation, etc.

 Fire hazards in the power industry

 The production process of a power plant is essentially a process of energy conversion. The basic raw materials of thermal power plants are combustible or flammable fuels. During the loading and unloading, storage, transportation, preparation and combustion of fuels, there are potential fire hazards. There are still some flammable and explosive substances in the main equipment of thermal power plants, which are prone to fire accidents. For example, there is a certain amount of oil in turbine generator sets, transformers, circuit breakers, etc. There is a certain amount of oil in the hydrogen system of hydrogen-cooled generator sets. A large amount of hydrogen gas, denitrification reduction must use liquid ammonia as a reducing agent, etc.
